Café Charlot, the parisian bistrot
Categories : Eating, Drinking, published on : 7/14/17
Located just opposite the Marché des Enfants Rouges, this former bakery has become a landmark of the neighbourhood. It’s one of those fabulously retro bistros with a distinctly 1950s ambience, a zinc counter, aged white tiles and mirrors on the wall. The kind of place where you can enjoy a conversation between tables and enjoy the ‘Parigo’ accents. The regulars come to enjoy an omelette accompanied by their dogs, who are just as trendy and often as nattily dressed as they are! It’s a great place to soak up the atmosphere and watch the day go by, and the terrace is a delight in the sunshine. Don’t miss the chance to stop off there for a coffee or something stronger, it's always fun! JR.
