Désirée, the new green corner of the quarter
Categories : Eating, published on : 4/11/18
Amidst the pavements and cobblestones of Paris, flowers grow! And here’s a great example of nature’s bounty blooming in the heart of the city. Since last autumn, a new address has blossomed just a stone's throw from the Hotel Fabric and sown the seeds of freshness in the Folie Méricourt district, just in time to fulfil the promise of spring. Half coffee shop, half florist, this new shoot is ripe with the concept of ‘the garden to the plate’. As well as plenty of bouquets to take away, Désirée offers flavoursome dishes to savour on the spot, whether on the terrace or behind the big window. The wholesome and colourful menu selection, like the flowers grown in France, will evolve and change in accordance with the seasons, featuring homemade tarts, tartines and various tasty salads. With local culture and bouquets of freshness, Désirée is a breath of spring all year long!
