The Louvre's new exhibition "Pharaoh of the Two Lands" takes us to Napata, the ancient capital of the kingdom of Nubia, to retrace the life of Pharaoh Taharqa, one of the most famous sovereigns of his time.
Through this retrospective, lovers of ancient history will discover the dynasty of the Kushite pharaohs and in particular the extraordinary life of Pharaoh Taharqa.
Statues, hieroglyphic stelae and more will immerse you in the heart of the African continent in the 8th century B.C., in the region that corresponds today to northern Sudan.
