East Mamma, the most popular trattoria in eastern Paris
Categories : Eating, Drinking, published on : 2/7/18
This is the very first trattoria of the Big Mamma band in Paris, the squadra that brings us a taste of the dolce vita in the heart of the capital. Previously it was a 32-year-old Corsican restaurant that no one wanted to buy, but which had the typical design lines of an Italian trattoria; all brick walls and old stones. Now it has ingredients sourced from small independent producers and winemakers, Neapolitan-style pizzas cooked over a wood fire with the purest respect for tradition, and fresh pasta made by hand, all served with a smile and that wonderful accent. Nothing more need be added to the recipe. You might wish to know that the restaurant does not take reservations. So, as it’s become so popular it’s a good idea to get there before it actually opens so you can be sure to find a table or get yourself on the list so you can grab one a little later.
