Le Fantôme, the bar for the Pacman generation
Categories : Eating, Drinking, published on : 3/6/17
Cocktails, street food and video games. At the junction of the Rue d'Hauteville and the Rue de Paradis, behind black lacquered tiling you can find a Pacman table, as well as table football, pinball machines and more retro-gaming delights. This large bar of 200 m2 has formica chairs, an origami ceiling and an irresistible appeal, especially for those of a certain age. The patrons behind Le Baron have created this good-natured and friendly den of insiders where we can just let go for a moment, sip a cocktail prepared by an inspired Californian mixologist and grab a slice of al taglio pizza or a helping of burrata. Or even drop by to sample the brunch soon to be scheduled on Sunday. But this great bar’s special twist means that plenty of people come along to get caught up in a game or two. JR.
