And on the plate: from a ‘bistronomie’ as well polished as the new decor of this venerable neighbourhood bar. Bouillon of the day, pickled herrings, beetroot, new potatoes and onions, fish and chips with the cod cooked in tempura, roasted scallops and braised endive.
