Nanashi, for great bento
Categories : Eating, published on : 5/16/17
Welcome to Nanashi, a temple of the world of healthy world food ... and of Paris! The latest Nanashi has just been opened in the Bonpoint shop on the Rue de Tournon on the Left Bank. The ground floor of a children’s clothing store may sound like a strange location for a restaurant, but that just adds to its cool appeal, and best of all, it’s only a few streets away from the Hotel Fabric! In this space that looks like a chic dining hall, with its vintage tables and wooden chairs, it's like Brooklyn or Berlin, rather than Tokyo. The owner Kaori Endo has made bento his speciality. Meat, fish or vegetarian, served with salad and cereals of the day; everything is perfectly compartmentalised for a complete and balanced meal. Then there’s desserts to die for, including Yuzu chocolate fondant, matcha cake or roasted fruits. Yummy!
Just 15 minutes from the Hotel Fabric, 57 rue Charlot, Paris 3rd arrondissement.
Open Monday to Wednesday from 12:00 to 15:00 and 20:00 to 23:00, Thursday and Friday from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 19:30 to 23:00, Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 16:00 and from 19:30 to 23:00, bar open each day from 18:00 to 02:00
