Since last October, Le Perchoir Ménilmontant has been offering an exclusive culinary experience on its rooftop: Vecchio. The result of the collaboration between Gianmarco Gorni and Hubert Niveleau, this place seamlessly blends Italian roots and New York influences, providing a fusion of authenticity and innovation for a unique gastronomic experience.
Vecchio captivates with a refined atmosphere and carefully crafted decor, reminiscent of a traditional bistro. The decoration, with its white brick walls and large windows, creates an ambiance that is both elegant and relaxed, reminiscent of the neighborhoods of Brooklyn.
Vecchio's menu stands out with its sophisticated cocktails, antipastis, and dishes with Italo-American accents. Among the specialties, guests can indulge in the famous vodka pasta, mozzarella sticks, or even a giant pepperoni and jalapeno pizza. The youthful and festive atmosphere ensures a gastronomic experience unlike any other.
Gianmarco Gorni, noticed in Season 11 of Top Chef, and Hubert Niveleau, the mind behind the Sarra Deli sandwich counter, helm the kitchens of Vecchio. Their promise? To reinvent the Transalpine tradition with a rebellious touch.
Vecchio offers a classic but effective culinary experience. From XXL meatballs in tomato sauce to al dente bucatini in a Parmesan-lemon cream, each dish reflects the bold marriage of flavors. The Italian wine list provides a diverse selection, ensuring perfect hydration. Cocktail enthusiasts won't be disappointed!
Nestled on the Parisian rooftops, Vecchio establishes itself as a must-visit for those who appreciate Italian cuisine reimagined with a New York twist. A trattoria atmosphere for the free-spirited, innovative cuisine, and a dynamic culinary team make Vecchio a restaurant to absolutely discover.
